Radiona.org sudjeluje s istoimenim timom i robotom pod nazivom Flip and Go na ovogodišnjim borbama robota pod nazivom Fightbotics 2025 ARCTIC STEEL koje će se održati u subotu 13. prosinca 2025. od 15:00 sati u Primarijus craft pivovari u Zagrebu.
Radiona.org is participating with the team of the same name and a robot called Flip and Go in this year’s robot fights called Fightbotics 2025. ARCTIC STEEL which will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Primarijus craft brewery in Zagreb.
Radionin tim vodi Ronald Galić, član tima Fran Masnjak i dr. Uskoro detaljnije o timu. A sam robot nastaje tijekom radionice borbenih robota – V2 pod vodstvom Vedrana Relje u siječnju ove godine. Tada nastaju dva robota – jedan natjecateljski, a drugi kao rezerva. Ovo će biti prvo Radionino natjecanje na Fightboticsu jer prije naš lab nije želio sudjelovati zbog potencijalnog sukoba interesa – hostanje pripremnih radionica za studente zbivale su se u našem prostoru i glavni mentor borbi bio je naš član i suradnik Vedran Relja. Budući da se u posljednje dvije godine pripremne edukacije i mentoriranje zbivaju unutar studentske populacije i prostora FSB-a i FER-a, Radiona je odlučila u 2025. godini krenuti s participacijom na natjecanju.
The Radiona team is led by Ronald Galić, team member Fran Masnjak and others. More details about the team soon. And the robot itself was created during the combat robot workshop – V2 under the leadership of Vedran Relja in January of this year. Then two robots were created – one competitive, and the other as a reserve. This will be Radiona’s first competition at Fightbotics because previously our lab did not want to participate due to a potential conflict of interest – hosting preparatory workshops for students took place in our space and the main mentor for the fights was our member and associate Vedran Relja. Since in the last two years preparatory education and mentoring have been taking place within the student population and the space of FSB and FER, Radiona decided to start participating in the competition in 2025.
Fightbotics se pod ovim nazivom održava od 2022. godine, a kroz prethodna izdanja privukao je brojne sudionike i publiku zainteresiranu za robotiku i tehničke izazove. Tijekom ove godine borbe robota održane su i u sklopu Green River Festivala te Geek Games konvencije u Velikoj Gorici.
Natjecanja su posljednjih godina imala visoku posjećenost; primjerice, izdanje održano 2023. u Močvari bilo je rasprodano nekoliko dana prije događaja. Među publikom su zastupljene sve dobne skupine, dok se među natjecateljima ističu studentski timovi i hobističke ekipe. Studentskim timovima organizatori omogućuju sufinanciranje troškova izrade te pristup prostoru i alatu u Studentskom inovacijskom centru Fakulteta strojarstva i brodogradnje, dok ostali timovi troškove snose samostalno.
Fightbotics has been held under this name since 2022, and through previous editions it has attracted numerous participants and an audience interested in robotics and technical challenges. During this year, robot fights were also held as part of the Green River Festival and the Geek Games convention in Velika Gorica.
The competitions have had a high attendance in recent years; for example, the 2023 edition held in Močvara was sold out a few days before the event. All age groups are represented among the audience, while student teams and hobby teams stand out among the competitors. The organizers provide student teams with co-financing for the production costs and access to space and tools at the Student Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, while other teams cover the costs independently.
