The 4Cs project and Radiona.org as organizers invite all teachers, educators, pedagogues, educational workers, museum workers, curators, cultural workers, producers, artists, students and innovators to join 4K – International Conference on Creative Education and Critical Thinking. The conference will be held on Thursday, October 20th, 2022 at the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla in Zagreb.

The international project 4Cs’ develops competencies for teachers and students related to the 4Cs’ skills of the 21st century: critical thinking, creativity, cooperation and communication.
The 4Cs’ project sees the cultural sector as a dynamic space for learning and exchange, therefore it responds to this need by supporting educational approaches to creative and critical thinking in schools through engagement in the cultural sector, especially museums, galleries, makerspaces, science centers and festivals.
The project is the result of three previous Erasmus+ projects: Creative
Museum, Making Museum and Creative School (2014-2022).
The conference is divided into two parts: the morning part with presentations and talks, while the afternoon is scheduled for practical workshops with the aim of presenting maker culture to the cultural sector with an element of recycling abandoned technology, work with hands and attitude towards gamification for needs.
Entrance to the conference is free, but it is necessary to pre-register (first stage) and confirm two days before the start of the conference (second stage). Working language: English.
SUBMISSIONS (until Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at noon) here: https://forms.gle/WKqgbT5LPBkeaDHD9
As part of the conference, lunch and refreshments are provided, as well as access to materials at the workshops (participants take the results home.)

During the conference, we will also mark the fiftieth anniversary of the game Pong, one of the first arcade games released in 1972 on the Atari platform. For this occasion, we will present and enable conference participants to play Pong in pairs or alone on different consoles, from vintage to DIY gamer consoles during the break.
