Hardverski sintisajzeri prosječnom glazbeniku nikada nisu bili dostupniji. U ponudi ima svega, od
besplatnih pluginova, preko jeftinih kopija legendarnih analognih instrumenata iz 70-tih do modernih
flagship modela kojima se cijena mjeri u tisućama eura. No, svi oni podliježu istim podjelama,
principima i pravilima sinteze zvuka.
Ova radionica sinteze zvuka bavit će se osnovama korištenja sintisajzera i praktičnom primjenom u
glazbi i sound design-u. Objasnit ćemo kojim kontrolama sintisajzera oblikovati zvuk u željenom
smjeru i pokušati povezati te kontrole i teorijske pojmove s onim što čujemo.
Za demonstraciju i učenje na radionici će biti nekoliko hardverskih sintova iz studija Sensorium, no
polaznike ohrabrujemo da ponesu svoje sintisajzere (laptopi sa softverskim sintovima su isto
dobrodošli).

Saša Rajković – Zarkoff je glazbenik i tonac s popriličnim iskustvom na elektronskoj i indie sceni. Kao solo izvođač i član bendova Sumerian Fleet, FFFC, Lab Personnel i drugih projekta je objavio preko 30 izdanja, a u ulozi mastering inžinjera radi za Creme Organization, Raw Culture Records, odnedavno za Out Of TuneRecords itd. Domaćoj indie sceni poznat je po radu s ### i Žen te kolektivom Lab Personnel.

The sound synthesis workshop led by Saša Rajković Zarkoff will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, March 5 and 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00p.m. in the Radiona.
Hardware synthesizers have never been more accessible to the average musician. There is everything on offer, from free plugins, over cheap copies of legendary analog instruments from the 70s to modern ones
flagship models whose price is measured in thousands of euros. But they are all subject to the same divisions, principles and rules of sound synthesis.
This sound synthesis workshop will deal with the basics of using synthesizers and practical application in
music and sound design. We will explain which synthesizer controls to shape the sound in the desired way direction and try to connect these controls and theoretical concepts with what we hear.
For demonstration and learning at the workshop, there will be several hardware synths from the Sensorium studio, no participants are encouraged to bring their own synthesizers (laptops with software synths are the same welcome).

Saša Rajković – Zarkoff is a musician and sound engineer with considerable experience in the electronic and indie scene. As a solo performer and member of the bands Sumerian Fleet, FFFC, Lab Personnel and other projects, he has released over 30 releases, and in the role of mastering engineer he works for the Creme Organization, Raw Culture Records, recently for Out Of TuneRecords, etc. He is known to the domestic indie scene for his work with ### and Žen and the collective Lab Personnel.
