Internal workshop for assembling Dr. Böhm Professional 2000 organ under the guidance of Krešimir Antolić is set to take place on 18 January in Kavez (I’MM_ Media lab), Club SC at 2pm.  The workshop is open to all passionate audiophiles, as well as to all people.

Dr. Böhm Professional 2000 series of organs were produced as assembling kits between 1977 and 1985 in Germany. Several Radiona’s members (Tin Dozic, Ana Labudovic, Goran Mahovlic, Luana Lojic, Ana Horvat, Stella Lebos i Deborah Hustic) initiated by Ivan Marusic Klif bought at the end of 2013 second hand organ in order to assemble and hack this really complex kit.

This internal workshop will also be an opportunity for audiophiles, synth builders and electronic technicians around I’MM_ Media lab mailing list  to gather together and to introduce each other in real space and they will also join the forces on this workshop in order to help assembling this kit together.

One of Radiona’s program incentives is oriented towards discovering of ‘the hidden secrets of the city’, hence this workshop is the first in the series that will be led by one person ‘discovered’ this way.

Kresimir Antolic is an electrical engineer by profession, who for many years passionately collects and repairs Roland and Korg synthesizers. Mr Antolic was one of the first owner of Roland synthesizer in the former Yugoslavia, with the exception of professional musicians who were the only ones allowed at that time to import music instruments in the country following unbelievable complicated procedure.
