Radiona.org / Zagreb Makerspace sudjeluje u programu Zagreb Music Weeka koji se od 15. do 20. rujna 2026. održava u sklopu Zagreb Design Weeka na Akademiji likovnih umjetnosti u Zagrebu.

U srijedu, 16. rujna od 20 do 23 sata, Radiona će u programskom segmentu Edukacija predstaviti izbor radova i produkcije nastale tijekom 15 godina audio radionica, suradnji i eksperimentalnih programa domaćih i međunarodnih autora.
Publika će moći upoznati niz DIY sintesajzera, elektroakustičnih instrumenata, hakiranih uređaja i drugih eksperimentalnih zvučnih objekata nastalih kroz Radionine radionice i produkcijske procese. Postav donosi presjek praksi koje povezuju kreativnu elektroniku, open hardware, eksperimentalni zvuk, dizajn i izradu vlastitih instrumenata te umjetničko istraživanje zvuka.
Umjesto klasične izložbene postave, naglasak će biti na neposrednom susretu s instrumentima, njihovom konstrukcijom i zvučnim karakteristikama. Posjetitelji će ih moći upoznati kroz demonstracije i razgovor s članovima Radionine zajednice te saznati više o razvoju maker i hacker kulture u Zagrebu i Hrvatskoj.
U izboru će biti predstavljeni radovi nastali kroz brojne Radionine radionice i suradnje s domaćim i međunarodnim autorima, među kojima su Paul Tas / Error Instruments, Alwin Weber, Karl Heinz Jeron, Constanza Piña, Paula Pin, Peter Edwards / Casper Electronics, Marc Dusseiller / SGMK, Anže Sekelj i Staš Vrenko / HEX House, Tara Pattenden, Derek Holzer, John Richards / Dirty Electronics, Mitch Altman, Yuri Landman, Wolfgang Spahn, Urs Gaudenz i mnogi drugi.
S publikom će tijekom večeri razgovarati Goran Mahovlić, Deborah Hustić, Damir Prizmić i Zvonimir Domazet.
Zagreb Music Week ove godine istražuje pitanje „Kako vidljivost postaje uspješnost?” kroz četiri programske poluge – prostor, edukaciju, tehnologiju i organizaciju. Radionin segment pokazuje ulogu edukacije, otvorenog znanja i dostupnosti alata u razvoju glazbene i eksperimentalne scene: kada publika može razumjeti kako je instrument nastao, upoznati njegove autore i sama istraživati tehnologiju, prestaje biti samo promatrač i postaje aktivni sudionik kreativne produkcije.

Radiona.org / Zagreb Makerspace is taking part in Zagreb Music Week, held from 15 to 20 September 2026 as part of Zagreb Design Week at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and at Club Masters.
On Wednesday, 16 September, from 8 to 11 PM, Radiona will present a selection of works and projects developed over 15 years of audio workshops, collaborations and experimental programmes by Croatian and international artists as part of the programme strand Education.
Visitors will be able to explore a range of DIY synthesizers, electroacoustic instruments, hacked devices and other experimental sound objects developed through Radiona’s workshops and production processes. The presentation offers an overview of practices connecting creative electronics, open hardware, experimental sound, instrument design and fabrication, and artistic approaches to sound research.
Rather than a conventional exhibition display, the focus will be on direct encounters with the instruments, their construction and sonic characteristics. Through demonstrations and conversations with members of the Radiona community, visitors will also have an opportunity to learn more about the development of maker and hacker culture in Zagreb and Croatia.
The selection includes works developed through numerous Radiona workshops and collaborations with Croatian and international artists and makers, including Paul Tas / Error Instruments, Alwin Weber, Karl Heinz Jeron, Constanza Piña, Paula Pin, Peter Edwards / Casper Electronics, Marc Dusseiller / SGMK, Anže Sekelj and Staš Vrenko / HEX House, Tara Pattenden, Derek Holzer, John Richards / Dirty Electronics, Mitch Altman, Yuri Landman, Wolfgang Spahn, Urs Gaudenz and many others.
During the evening, visitors will be able to join conversations with Goran Mahovlić, Deborah Hustić and Damir Prizmić.
This year Zagreb Music Week explores the question “How does visibility become success?” through four interconnected programme strands – space, education, technology and organisation. Radiona’s contribution focuses on the role of education, open knowledge and accessible tools in the development of music and experimental culture. When audiences can understand how an instrument was made, meet the people behind it and explore the technology themselves, they move from being observers to active participants in creative production.
