engineer-in-residence: Miguel Angel Sagreras (Argentina) – HDL4FPGA repository

Miguel Angel Sagreras (Argentina) will be partaking the engineer-in-residence program during February at Radiona.org. He will spent his residence in Zagreb to continue working on HDL4FPGA repository during and will hold a masterclass workshop during his stay.

For last few years he has been developing a global international open source project HDL4FPGA which is an oscilloscope being able to tun on diverse FPGA boards.

Miguel Angel Sagreras is an Associate Professor at the University of San Martín, specializing in digital systems and microcontrollers. An electronics engineer graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, Miguel has worked on the development of an OFDM demodulator for the ISDB-T digital television standard, where he identified the need for accessible debugging and analysis tools. Even with access to development instruments, the time required to interconnect the devices remained a significant barrier. This experience led him to create HDL4FPGA, a repository with tools for the design and development of digital systems. Additionally, Miguel has a deep interest in low-level software, kernel hacking, and signal processing.
