During May/June 2025, German artist and musician Alwin Weber will be artist in residence in Radiona.org.

During his residence Alwin will work on circuit bending electronic circuits combining unusual devices, toys, plastic instruments, vintage objects and devices that could be hacked into strange music instruments and devices. He will also give a workshop on circuit bending during his residence.

Alwin Weber aka “StöRenfrieD” is a German artist from Dresden. He has been experimenting with sound since 2001, and started working with the circuit bending technique in 2007. The results of his hacking processes lead to the founding of a project and series of concerts and workshops called CircuitCircle (2009). Since then, he has performed and exhibited his installations at numerous festivals in Europe, such as Cynet Art Festival, Ars Electronica, etc. He is also orginiser of several DIY/DIWO electronic music festivals in Dresden.
