RADIONICA JE POPUNJENA! HVALA NA RAZUMIJEVANJU! Radionica Circuit Bending + PCB Potpourri Alwina Webera održat će se u petak, 30. svibnja 2025. od 18h u Radioni.
Na radionici imate mogućnost modificirati igračku, zvučni uređaj ili druge postojeće sklopove kako biste postali neobičan “Izvanzemaljski instrument”. Tehnika se naziva circuit bending i zabavan je način za početak bavljenja elektronikom i izgradnju vlastitog eksperimentalnog elektroničkog instrumenta. Potpuno je praktična, a kao metoda pokušaja i pogrešaka vrlo je razigran način ulaska u temu elektronike. Možete donijeti vlastite igračke i zvučne uređaje, ali bit će osigurane i stvari. Što stariji to bolji.
Druga polovica radionice je “PCB Potpourri”. Radi se o savijanju sklopova starih sklopova Alwina Webera i spajanju različitih ploča i funkcija već postojećih uređaja. Alwin donosi neke starije tiskane ploče, probne ploče i mnoštvo komponenti. Cilj je stvoriti vlastitu malu postavku buke ili zvučnu skulpturu i dobiti uvid u određene funkcije sklopova iz CircuitCirclea i osnovne zvučne sklopove općenito.

Alwin Weber aka “StöRenfrieD” njemački je umjetnik iz Dresdena. Eksperimentira sa zvukom od 2001. godine, a tehnikom circuit bending počinje se baviti u 2007. godini. Rezultati njegovih hakerskih procesa dovode do osnivanja projekta i serije koncerata i radionica pod nazivom CircuitCircle (2009.). Od tada nastupa i izlaže svoje instalacije na brojnim festivalima u Europi, poput Cynet Art Festival, Ars Electronica i dr.

“Circuit Bending + PCB Potpourri” Workshop
Alwin Weber’s Circuit Bending + PCB Potpourri workshop will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025 from 6pm in the Workshop.
In the workshop you have the possibility to modify a toy, a sound device or other existing circuits to become a weird “Alien Instrument”. The technique is called circuit bending and its a fun way to start with electronics and building your first own experimental electronic instrument. It´s totally hands on and the trial and error method is a very playful way to get into the topic. You can bring your own toys and sound devices but there will also be stuff provided. The older the better.
The other half of the workshop is the “PCB Potpourri”. Its about circuit bending old circuits of Alwin Weber and mash up different boards and functions of already existing devices. Alwin is bringing some older circuit boards, breadboards and loads of components. The goal is to create your own little noise setup or soundsculpture and get an inview about certain functions of the circuits from CircuitCircle and basic sound circuits in general.

Alwin Weber aka “StöRenfrieD” is a German artist from Dresden. He has been experimenting with sound since 2001, and started working with the circuit bending technique in 2007. The results of his hacking processes lead to the founding of a project and series of concerts and workshops called CircuitCircle (2009). Since then, he has performed and exhibited his installations at numerous festivals in Europe, such as Cynet Art Festival, Ars Electronica, etc. He is also orginiser of several DIY/DIWO electronic music festivals in Dresden.
