Collaborative project for residencies between Australia and Croatia

We are happy to announce that from 1 January 2018 a collaborative project between Sydney based Artemis Projects and Radiona.org / Zagreb Makerspace has started in the fields of artist-in-residence program and cooperative international exchange of intermedia artists, sound artists, designers, curators and hackers/ makers between two continents.

Artemis Projects from Australia have teamed up with Radiona in order to offer art residencies in Zagreb. Artemis projects is a Sydney based art collective with a residential unit in Zagreb. Therefore, Radiona’s first resident in the yearly program entitled ‘Hybrid arts and new practices’ from March to April 2018 will be MITCH ALTMAN, a San Francisco-based hacker and inventor. He is a co-founder of Noisebridge hackerspace and is best known for inventing TV-B-Gone.

Artemis Projects are Ira Ferris and Ben Ferris. Ben Ferris is a filmmaker and a video artist whose writings on cinema have been published worldwide in both French and English.
Ira Ferris is a curator, a dancer and a trained journalist with experience in events management and social media.  As a collective, they make films and video art, curate exhibitions and art festivals, facilitate art talks, produce podcasts, and write about art.

Radiona.org is also currently hosting Alex Yang from Singapure as biohacker-in-residence from January to March 2018.
