Code of Conduct
In line with hackerspaces and makerspaces around the globe adopting the Anti-Harassement Policy from 2010, Radiona.org also implemented the same policy from the day the makerspace was founded. We also updated the policy with possible specificity characteristic for our region.
Radiona – Zagreb Makerspace is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, race, nationality, ethnic minority, subculture, geographical region, knowledge, social status or religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of people at our events or space in any form, including talks, workshops, performances, exhibitions, presentations and other online media (social media networks).
Sexual language and imagery should only be used for positive purposes in accordance with best practices advocated by professional sex educators (if you’re not sure what those are, don’t do it).
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, age, race, nationality, ethnic minority, subculture, geographical region, knowledge, technology choices, social status, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
People asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
People violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the space or the event at the discretion of any Radiona – Zagreb Makerspace member.
If you wish to report harassment anonymously or privately, you can send a message to radiona.org (at) gmail.com
